Laparoscopic Ventrosuspension

This is a procedure to pull the uterus forward from a retroverted (hanging backwards) to anteverted (hanging forwards) position. Is is undertaken as a day case ‘keyhole’ operation by operative laparoscopy. Mr Carpenter undertook this procedure on the Embarrassing Bodies series to treat a patient with pain with intercourse.
